The Meetings Industry Association (mia) will be holding its first Agents’ Day of 2018 at Millbrook. The event will offer delegates access to leading booking agents and will include a fast-paced, interactive Q&A, a Think-in Talk-in session and a team building exercise. Guests are expected to travel from across the UK to attend.
The event will be hosted in Millbrook’s Concept 1 venue. It is one of Millbrook’s larger venues and has a unique look that adds immediate impact to any event. A ‘blank canvas’, it is versatile and configurable to suit any combination of requirements.
The day will allow small groups of venues and agents to discuss key topics in the industry, allowing maximum learning and networking.
Jane Longhurst, chief executive of the mia said: “The mia’s Agents’ Days have always been incredibly popular events in our calendar. This year we were keen to ensure the event provides even greater opportunities for delegates to meet and network with corporate and agency buyers so have made a few changes for 2018. This year’s event will be more insightful, while allowing attendees even more time with agents.”
Kevin Leaver, head of events at Millbrook said: “We regularly work with events agencies and are delighted to welcome the mia and its members on site this year for its industry networking event. This Agents’ Day looks to be a popular one and we look forward to introducing people who may not know Millbrook so well to the site.”
